Just as I collected pictures of red things, I made a collection of blue stuff. It was a little more of a challenge. Perhaps someday I will collect geometric shapes or some other category. Other colors will be more challenging. I would have to loosen my collecting criteria. With red and blue, I avoided plants, cars, and signs. <strong>See the pictures here.
Using software, a digital photographer has available the sorts of photo manipulation that a film photographer could never imagine, exceeding the abilities of the most expert darkroom technician. I’m not referring to pasting heads on bodies or heavy-duty retouching, but the manipulation of an image by sampling and reproducing or copying, reversing, and blending together, or any other means of creating original images that delight the eye. The Presidential residence in Seoul, Korea is called The Blue House, because blue (celadon) is associated with royalty. This blue house in on the slopes of Mount Davidson in San Francisco, amid a sea of white, beige, and pink little boxes made of ticky-tacky.
From any perspective, from any distance, she is a real beauty.
