Transformations

Using software, a digital photographer has available the sorts of photo manipulation that a film photographer could never imagine, exceeding the abilities of the most expert darkroom technician. I’m not referring to pasting heads on bodies or heavy-duty retouching, but the manipulation of an image by sampling and reproducing or copying, reversing, and blending together, or any other means of creating original images that delight the eye.
